You know you’re officially in your 30’s when your idea of a fun Sunday (or Friday night) is hitting up a Whole Foods or even a really awesome grocery store. I could literally be there for hours, HOURS! It’s almost sensory overload. Just aisles and aisles of foods I’d like to make into awesome healthy recipes however there’s merely not enough hours in the day nor is my current kitchen conducive to such activities.

Anyhow, I tested a recipe today for meatless Monday tomorrow. I had most of the items on hand except for just a few and had to make a quick run to my hangout. Apparently I wasn’t the only person in town who had the same idea. The place was a mad house and I narrowly avoided many head on collisions with carts who weren’t paying attention.

Yeah, I know, those clues are terrible. Any time I’m grocery shopping I always have to get myself a little treat, which usually means I get kombucha. If you’ve never tried kombucha, you must. It’s a fermented, effervescent drink made of black tea. I usually go for the Synergy brand but Kickin’ Kombucha (based out of my hometown) caught my eye with their Blueberry Mojito flavor…sold. Not to mention, I better support my locals.

Once I got home, I made a few things in the kitchen by which I’ll be posting in a separate blog post and got my daily workout from Kozak. It was a strength workout that I did at the gym. Tomorrow is my off day and I can’t wait, I’m tired and my body sure could use it.
