Vegan Donut Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup GF all-purpose flour (you can also use spelt or wheat flour)
2/3 cup almond milk
1/3 cup coconut sugar
3 tbsp softened or melted butter or coconut oil
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Gluten Free Doughnut Recipe Preperation:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and coconut sugar) and whisk until combined. Create a whole in the middle of the dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients right in (almond milk, butter/oil, ACV) and mix completely to form the batter and no lumps remain.
Add the batter to a greased donut pan or mini muffin pan (for donut holes) and bake for 12-15 minutes or until they pass the tooth pick test. Allow to cool before adding frosting or topping of your choice.
