This simple oven roasted brussel sprouts recipe will make you fall in love with this vegetable! HASfit’s lemon garlic brussel sprout recipe is easy to make and delicious.

Ingredients:
2 cups organic brussel sprouts
1 tablespoon olive oil
2-3 cloves of minced garlic
Juice of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Soak and clean your brussel sprouts removing any excess dirt.

Cut the brussel sprouts in half and cut the brown ends from the sprouts removing any wilted leaves from the sprouts.

In a bowl, add the olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice to the brussel sprouts and mix until the sprouts are well coated. Add the lemon zest and continue coating. Add a pinch or two of kosher salt and pepper to taste. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil that’s been sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray, spread the brussel sprouts out on the sheet so they roast evenly. Bake for 15-20 minutes tossing the brussel sprouts half way through. Serve immediately and enjoy!
