…of myself gets you motivated, I’ve got a lot to choose from,TRUST.

I got my new driver’s license in today since I had to change name, I was taken aback by the progress I’ve made since August of 2012 (right photo) until now (left photo taken 2 weeks ago). Take a look at the oh so dreaded driver’s license photo….

CRAZY!

I’m 15-20 pounds lighter than I was this time last year and it wasn’t a resolution thing that gave me the kick I needed, it was the desire to be the best version of me.

I turned 30 years old in March of 2013 and I guess I wanted to enter my thirties better than I had in my twenties. While it may seem like a sacrifice in the beginning by not having that extra glass of wine or not hanging out with your friends as much because of your exercise regiment or the need to stick to your meal plan, believe me, your self esteem and the feeling you get when your clothes begin to fall off of you is far more worth it. Or maybe it’s the better numbers you’ll see at the doctor’s office when you get your yearly physical; whatever your motivation is, keep your eye on the prize! Practice patience, consistency and self love.

Happy New Year HASfit family!
