Ladies, you all should know one thing about me when it comes to this whole wedding thing, I NEVER was that girl who had her whole wedding planned out before the age of 14 and now I’m paying for it! I’m truly going from 0 to 60 in a matter of 80 days, give or take. From dresses, to venues, to food, to music, my head is spinning and I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. My sister has been more than amazing and I really don’t know what I would do without her. Everyone should have a helper or assistant because this wedding stuff is serious business.

This past weekend my sister and I drove out to my venue (which is roughly 80 miles from where we live), sampled some catering dishes and made some purchases for our centerpieces. I absolutely LOVE my venue! It’s located in the Texas Hill Country and offers some pretty great wine….oh and views. Here, take a look….

After meeting with the event planner at our venue we went to a potential caterer and tasted some food, my favorite part of course. I was totally beside myself because they brought me a quinoa side dish, so naturally I chose the quinoa as part of our food spread, I mean…HELLO!

 

Saturday was handling some major business at Hobby Lobby day. That place is pretty awesome I tell you what. I can’t recall the last time I walked into an H.L. but was pretty disappointed when I found out they didn’t have a bridal registry. It’s ok though because I’m pretty sure I found Coach Kozak and I’s champagne flutes.

 

All in all, I think my stress level is coming down a bit and I really can’t wait until my life is back to normal and I’m not as distracted with all this wedding stuff. Best part of all, I’ll finally be married to my best friend. 🙂
